Cookie policy
Information on the use of cookies and other storage technologies on the NK Glanz website.
As of8 October 2026
Current state
The NK Glanz website sets no cookies. It embeds no third-party content and uses no tracking or marketing services; for quality assurance we only measure, anonymously, how fast our pages load (see below). The only information stored on your device is a single local-storage entry recording when you dismissed the cookie notice, described in the next section. A consent banner is not required, because no consent-requiring processing takes place.
Cookie notice preference
When you dismiss the on-page cookie notice, we store only the timestamp of
that dismissal in your browser's local storage under the key
nkglanz_cookie_notice_dismissed, so the notice is not shown to you again
for 30 days. This is the only information we store on your device, it is
set only after you explicitly dismiss the notice, and it is functional storage
used to honour your privacy choice. Under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive
and § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, storing the user's own privacy choice does not
require separate consent. You can clear it at any time through your
browser settings.
No tracking or marketing services
We do not embed any tracking, marketing or web analytics services that evaluate your usage behaviour or recognise you. As a result, no cookies are set for these purposes, and no comparable information is stored on your device. In particular, we do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel or comparable services.
Page speed measurement
To detect technical problems, we use Vercel Speed Insights to measure how fast our pages load. When a page loads, a script reads performance metrics through standard interfaces of your browser and sends them anonymously to our hosting provider Vercel via our own domain. No cookies are set, nothing is stored on your device and no identifier is assigned; individual visitors are neither tracked across pages nor recognised. Details are provided in our Privacy policy.
Language selection
The language selection (German / English) is handled through the URL prefix; the choice is not stored in the browser. No client-side persistence of the language preference takes place.
Non-essential storage in the future
Beyond the notice preference described above, if further storage or any consent-requiring processing becomes necessary in the future, we will:
- request your consent under § 25 (1) of the German TDDDG before processing;
- list the providers, purposes, storage periods and legal bases completely in this policy;
- implement consent technically so that it is freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous.
Overview of current storage technologies
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
nkglanz_cookie_notice_dismissed | Local storage | Records that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it is not shown again | 30 days | Functional storage of your own privacy choice, § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG |
No cookies are set, and no other browser storage is read or written.
External links
Links to external services (for example Google Maps for directions or our Instagram profile) are only fetched once you select them. No map, video or social-media content from third parties is embedded on our website.
Server-side logs
When you visit the website, connection data is processed by our hosting provider. This is technically required and does not require consent under § 25 TDDDG. Details are provided in our Privacy policy.
Deleting stored data
The cookie-notice preference described above is the only entry we write. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings; the notice will then simply appear again on your next visit. No other client-side storage takes place, so there is nothing else to delete.
Future changes
Before cookies, non-essential device storage, analytics or marketing services are activated in the future, we will review the actual purposes, providers, storage periods and legal bases, update this policy and put the required consent mechanisms in place. A mere technical feature toggle is not sufficient for that.
